STRING ART GONE WILD!
Once you understand the process, recreating it with nails and thread is fairly easy.
We use small needle nose pliers to hold the nails - saves the fingers!
The room is very quite during the stringing - not so much with all of them banging!!
Almost done!
Love the splatter paint in the background
Graphing the boards
Stringing
We practice on paper first then transfer our designs to the boards.
How many nails do I need to use!!
Most students love to embellish their pieces, creating a very unique and one of a kind piece.

Love that they painted the boards first! How many class sessions did you allot to this project?
ReplyDeleteHi, could you explain how the students understood their patterns as they wrapped in sequence? Did you go by premade patterns or did they develop their own & how? Also, what kind of board did you use? Would love to know more! Thanks, Sandy :)
